Project Management Planning Support

PMAC recommends the use Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from outside performing organizations to support development of Project Baselines, Project Plans, and Project Management Plans. SMEs with diverse backgrounds will facilitate their development consistent with industry best practices.

As organizations increase their PM maturity, there is a need for PO and PMO development. POs need detailed processes and procedures specific to projects; whereas PMOs need processes and procedures as general guidelines for developing PO manuals and higher levels of PMO processes and procedures to manage, control, and monitor programs and portfolios - to improve program and portfolio management processes.

Assuming comprehensive PM manuals are developed, their implementation requires understanding of expected end state, plans to efficiently implement, and availability of personnel capable of facilitating processes and procedures. Though in-house involvement and sponsorship is required, there is a need for consultants to facilitate consistent practices and cultural changes. Let PMAC provide that support to you.
